About
Florent, software engineer.
A web software engineer for a little over 8 years, I design and build complex business web applications, on both the back end and the front end.
I mainly work with PHP and the Symfony, API Platform and Laravel frameworks. On the front end, I build user interfaces with React and TypeScript, relying in particular on TanStack and shadcn/ui.
I've always cared deeply about code quality: clean, readable, testable and maintainable. To me, software development is a craft that calls for rigor and care, whether the code is written by hand or with the help of AI agents. Productivity should never come at the expense of quality.
I keep deepening my knowledge of DDD, TDD and Clean Architecture. I aim to put my experience and engineering skills to work in AI-assisted development, to build robust, long-lasting applications.
